UPDATE ON THE LVSSC BIG SKY SKI TRIP, 1-6 Apr 2024
The bad news:
THE LVSSC BIG SKY SKI TRIP IS ALMOST SOLD OUT!!!!
but we still need one male roommate and one female roommate.
THE GOOD NEWS:
If you want to go on this fantastic trip, WE CAN GET MORE ROOMS (for two people or a room as a single supplement), BUT FOR THAT TO HAPPEN YOU HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR THE WAITLIST.
(NO PAYMENT NECESSARY UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY GET A ROOM)
If you are interested in going on this trip, I recommend signing up now as waitlisted rooms are not going to be available indefinitely. The sooner you sign up and get on the waitlist, the better chances you have of getting a room and going to ski at BIG SKY. If you are a single and will need a roommate, sign up to be a roommate for one of the two single roommates we have available (one male and one female). Contact Peggy Carson to help you do this. To sign up for waitlist instructions:
- 1) Click on the following link http://lasvegas-bs24.sat.tours/
- 2) Choose the number of guests that you wish to register.
- 3) Follow prompts and type in your name and email address. Then click the blue “BEGIN REGISTRATION” button.
- 4) The next page contains trip details. Click the “CONTINUE” button when ready to move on.
- 5) Please fill out the personal information details on this page. When done click the “CONTINUE/NEXT” button
- 6) The following page is the lodging portion. Please click on the “OPTION 3” button so that you are added to the waitlist. Click the “CONTINUE/NEXT” button.
- 7) Next is the Lift Ticket page. If you are interested in purchasing lift tickets through the group, please click the appropriate box. After choosing an option, click the “CONTINUE/NEXT” button.
- 8) Click the “CONTINUE/NEXT” button.
- 9) Choose a ground transfer option, then click the “CONTINUE/NEXT” button.
- 10) Read and fill out the Complete Registration page. Click the “TO CONTINUE, CLICK HERE TO VERIFY REQUIRED INFORMATION WAS PROVIDED”
- 11) Next, please choose to either pay by check or Credit Card.
- 12) You are now registered on our waitlist. As soon as a spot opens up, you will be notified and asked to verify that you still wish to join the trip. At that point, a deposit of $250 will be due to secure your spot.

Big Sky Trip Information 2024
Big Sky is one of the hidden secret ski areas but not for long. Skiers and snowboarders have begun to discover this area and I you haven't been there this is the perfect chance to experience a great mountain and great snow in the spring.
Big Sky is two mountains in one and has a wide variety of Great slopes.
We are staying in the famous Huntley Lodge, named after a NBC News Anchor of the 60’s, and founder of the resort. Big Sky has some of the newest and fastest ski lifts with a 6 and 8 seat Heated chairlifts with wind screens and a newer gondola.

This trip is a drive or fly YOURSELF trip. It is about a 9–10-hour drive to Big Sky from Las Vegas.
We will attempt to organize a carpool with those that want to drive.
Southwest Airline flies directly into Bozeman, Montana, which is the closest airport to Big Sky.
It is about an hour and a half flight to Bozeman and about another hour and a half drive from Bozeman to Big Sky. They have shuttles available or private limo services are available to and from Bozeman. We will make recommendations on Southwest flights that are available and make the best connections for shuttles and hotel check-ins.
Our travel Wholesaler, Sports America, has a link on the Las Vegas Ski Club website for Direct Secure Payment. As a current member of the LVSSC club, you have a Username and Password that will permit you to access the payment portal which is under the “membership” tab on the home page. (see detailed instructions below)
You are able to add each item you want to be included in your package. If you only need lodging you can pay for it when you register for the trip. If you want to add lift tickets that will be added to your cart. All of these features will be added before your check-out. You can also make Payments.

Big Sky is an IKON Pass resort. So, if you have an IKON Pass you will be able to ski free with this pass for a minimum of five (5) days, depending on what level pass you have. Remember you can help some of your non-IKON pass friends out with your Buddy Pass.
If you need to buy lift tickets, there are packages available with our group.
Fine Print
The Base price of the trip is $ 650.
You can save a place by making a deposit of $ 250.
You can pay in full or make payments, if needed.

You must be a member of Las Vegas Ski Club
or the Phoenix Ski Club to participate on this trip.

Additional Signup Instructions:
There are 2 ways to sign up: Online or by mail
1. Online registration using a credit card to make payment.
Just follow these steps:
1st:You must use your email address and password to log into the LVSSC website:

If you have forgotten your password follow the “forgotten password” procedures on the login portal. Please try more than once (if needed) but don’t get frustrated. Contact Jim Boyd at 702-203-6445, and he can email you a NEW password. Be patient, it may take him 24 hours to get back to you depending on his schedule.
2nd: On-Line Trip Registration
Once you have logged into the LVSSC website, go to the home page and click on the “Members” tab. On the drop-down menu, click on the “Event Payments” tab. That will link you to the Sports America , ONLINE REGISTRATION system for the LVSSC “Big Sky” ski trip.
Once there, you can “preview” the site to see how it is laid out, or you can register and pay by selecting the number of participants.
3rd: We strongly recommend trip insurance. If you need to cancel your trip, your deposit is non-refundable without trip insurance. If you have questions, or need help, you can contact Kellie, 707-931-4522, our Sports America coordinator, for more information.

Send a check directly to Minden address (below) made out to “Sports America Tours”. Also send the following information: your name and the name of your preferred roommate. That way you will get the roommate you want. If you do not have a roommate yet, or you are signing up as a single with supplement, state that also..

If you want a lift ticket package, the additional information that is needed is your name, age, and phone number, and which lift ticket package you want.
If you need ground transfer, you will need to provide the flight itinerary and a phone number whenever you get it.
